Send order updates and scheduled reminders from your website

WhatsApp only lets a business start a conversation with an approved template. Create the message once in WhatsApp Corner → Templates — for example “Hi {{1}}, your order {{2}} has shipped” — and your site fills in the values each time.

1. 1Create and get approval for your template in WhatsApp Corner → Templates.
2. 2Try it from Verify & Notify → Try it → Send a test message: pick the template, fill the values, send to yourself.
3. 3From your server, POST /api/v1/wa/messages with to, template, language and params (the values in order).
4. 4For a reminder, add send_at with a time zone, for example 2026-10-12T09:00:00+02:00. It can be up to 30 days ahead.

• idempotency_key: send the same key again (a retry) and the message is sent once.
• reference: your order or booking number, shown in Activity.
• DELETE /api/v1/wa/messages/{id} cancels a reminder before it is due.
• GET /api/v1/wa/templates lists your approved templates and how many values each needs.
