Your store's chat: numbers, languages and follow-ups

Attach your WhatsApp numbers, and every message gets your store's welcome card and menu, in the customer's language. No flow to build.

  1. 1Connect your WhatsApp number in Channels if you haven't yet.
  2. 2Open your store's Publish tab, switch on the numbers this store answers on, and press Save numbers. A number answers for one store; you can pick several numbers.
  3. 3Share the number's link or its QR code. A customer taps it, says hi, and gets your welcome card with an Open the store button, then My orders and Talk to us.
  4. 4In the Chat tab, pick the languages, write your own welcome words if you like, choose the menu buttons and the follow-ups, then press Save chat. The preview shows exactly what customers see.

How it answers

  • In the customer's language: Arabic when they write Arabic, English otherwise. An emoji or a number never switches it. A language button lets them switch any time.
  • Talk to us hands the chat to your team (you get a notice). It is never a dead end: the reply has a Back to menu button, and typing "menu" brings the store back.
  • While your team is replying, the store stays quiet. Customers can still tap the menu buttons.

Follow-ups

One gentle reminder for a cart left behind, and one for an order still waiting for payment or its screenshot, each with a button that opens the exact step. A customer who closed the store page before sending the order still gets the receipt in the chat a few minutes later. Everything is sent only within 24 hours of the customer's last message, which is WhatsApp's rule. On the store page, Back to chat (top corner) returns to the conversation, and a pending order that isn't paid yet can be changed: Change my order puts it back in the cart.
